During the meeting in Romania all partners from the 8 schools have carried out project activities according to the established objectives of our project.
The meeting was opened in the Secondary School “Elena Rares” Botosani. The guest students and teachers were greeted and introduced to the students, teachers and parents. The students of partner schools gave the presentations about fairy-tales and legends in their respective countries and carried out a photo group activity “A picture is worth a thousand words”.
On Tuesday, all the participants in the project visited No.1 Secondary School Saveni and had a round table discussion about environment protection and had an educational documentary visit to the Stanca Costesti Dam at the border of the European Union.
On Wednesday, the participants had the opportunity to take part in the discussion with a history specialist at Neamt Fortess about preserving history and saving it for future generations. In the afternoon, all the members learned about Romanian legends and tradıtıons at the lakes Cheile Bıcazului and Lacul Rosu. The teachers exchanged good practices among participant school in Comenius project: Comenius Project Regio:Implementing Benchmarking in school improvement and Comenius Multilateral Project Save the PAST, live the PRESENT, IMAGINE the FUTURE.
On Thursday, the host students and parents prepared a presentaton of traditional Romanian cusine where all the participants could taste the gastronomical delices of the country and later on each partner country students demonstrated a typical national custom in a smal spectacle.
On Friday the students were activ ely involved in creating the Comenius tree of wishes for a better future while the teachers were making an evaluation of the activities carried out during the whole project, during the reunion in Romania, completing the questionnaires and distributing the tasks for the final project activities
